Tadej spent several years learning the art of wheel-thrown clay under the mentorship of master potter Urban Magušar. Under the guidance of mentors at Biserna hiša, he creates more complex artistic pieces. His passion lies in crafting clay works with unconventional forms.
In Tadej’s own words :
“When I shape and spin clay on the wheel, I feel completely relaxed. The unrecognizable lump of clay, fixed to the wheel, invites and challenges me to persist and spin it until I can coax something beautiful and unique from it.”
About the work “Benneton”. The vivid, colorful glazes represent a departure from the everyday utility of clay vessels. This creative approach elevates a simple everyday object into a piece of artistic expression.
