Aleš has been painting and creating for many years. His favorite themes are water and light. He enjoys pouring and splashing acrylic paints onto large-format canvases.

In Aleš’s own words: 

“I paint for the pleasure of it. I enjoy spending time and creating with my mentor. Painting helps me relax. I use different brushes to apply beautiful, vibrant colors. Sometimes, I also pour and splash the paint onto the canvas. Matjaž and I have a lot of fun during those moments, and we laugh a lot. I’m happiest when we manage to create a really good painting together.”

“From the Depths”

About the painting ” From the Depths”. The painting represents a play between light and dark colors. Using large, wide brushes and poured layers of paint, the composition was created in a completely intuitive and spontaneous way. With vivid applications and highlights of glowing red, the motif transcended “light everydayness” and evolved into a Battle between Light and Shadow, a Battle between Good and Evil.
